Previously on the Stepford Matriarchy:
The first husband of the matriarchy passed away, leaving the family devastated. Our founder (now in her old age ) recieved an opportunity to try and bring him back to life. It half worked, as he returned as a ghost. Harmony (generation two's heiress) and her husband Christian gave birth to twin boys who they named Buck II and Buck III after Harmony's father. Now on with the legacy!
You may be wondering why Elizabeth Stepford wasn't mentioned in the 'opening credits,' well...she's passed away. She had a good long life, and it's unlucky that shortly after bringing her husband back from the dead, she had to leave him. Goodbye Stepford founder, I know I'll miss you (as will the rest of the Stepfords).
"Shortly after the disappointment of having twin boys, Christian and I got pregnant again! I must admit, I'm not keen on the throwing up, but nothing beats the pitter patter of feet against the inside of your belly."
"Life continued as normal during the pregnancy. I tended to my garden like any housewife should, cooked the meals for the family and tried to keep up with taking care of Buck II and Buck III."
"In other news, Christian got a job with the army. His LTW is to become an astronaut but as an elder I'm not sure he can achieve that. We can hope though, and it does pull in a little money. We're not as poor as we were when I was a child (we have about 10,000 simoleons lying around) but it's still nice to know that we can be comfortable financially."
"With my pregnancy, and Christian's new job, Buck was left to take care of his grandsons. He was a wonderful babysitter- uhh..I mean grandfather *shifty eyes*. I felt a little resentment towards them becuase they were boys and I really needed girls for the sake of my mother's legacy."
"Sooner than I realized, it was time for the Buck twins to grow up. I was a little relieved that they were one step closer to childhood (when they would gain a little more independence) but disappointed at the same time because I knew that they wouldnt recieve the same care from myself, my father and Christian because any girls that we might have would take priority. Oh well, life's hard."
"While mourning the death of my mother, my water broke and I went into labour! I decided to have an at-home birthing because I was curious as to what it would be like. It hurt. A lot. But I dealt with it because Im evil."
Introducing Odette Stepford. The pregnancy was bad so her traits were rolled for her. They are: Genius and Athletic.
Introducing Caiusa (pronounced Keesa) Stepford. Again, her traits were rolled and she rolled Slob and Loves the Outdoors.
And finally...introducing Xanthie Stepford who, for some reason, only recieved one trait: Loves the Outdoors. Yup- triplet GIRLS! *squee* we can have our first heiress poll when they're older. Awesome. It's strange how many Stepfords have the 'Love the Outdoors' traits. Maybe traits are hereditory.
And here is where I shall leave you. Wish Harmony yoinking into full fledged adulthood. I've played ahead a little bit and let me tell you: having twins and triplets in the same house is crazy! I'll make them all happy, then a second later one will be in the red, and then they'll all be in the red. *Eye roll*. Let's hope we can make it through this, if we can then I'm sure I'll be able to finish this legacy :) thanks for reading and happy simming!
